I'm not sure how I feel about Sarah giving Oprah this--no doubt--huge boost in ratings. I stopped watching Oprah a long time ago, after she became nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Obama administration. I admire Sarah tremendously, and I'm sure she has her reasons for going on the show. Above all else, it will give her an opportunity to reach women who've never taken the opportunity to actually listen to what she has to say. I'm certain that many will come to love her as we do, and realize that much of what they've heard in the mainstream media has been nothing more than a smear campaign designed by the left to destroy her.
I suspect that "Going Rogue" will join the New York Times Best Seller's list, along with most other conservative authors who've had releases this year. Can't wait to read her side of the story in full. It will be an interesting read, for sure.

I cannot believe that she would go on Oprah's show. I hate Oprah but I am going to be watching her show that day.
Yeah, I was disappointed when I heard it. BUT, I've tried to see things from her perspective. If she's going to reach people with the truth, she has to, in some way "reach across the aisle". I'm certainly NOT for reaching across the aisle in the political arena where principles are at stake, but she knows she's among the wolves, and I think by now she knows exactly how to play things to her benefit. So, I wish her well. I will definitely be DVR'ing the show! (and will be curious to hear how THROUGH THE ROOF Oprah's ratings go that day!)
I just can't get enough of Sarah Palin. I love her.

Thanks
War was declared on Sarah last year by the left-wing press and also by members of her own party (just who went rogue on whom?) who accused her of being a far right, crooked, and dimwitted bimbo who shot moose from helicopters. A certain percent of Americans did see thing that way.
More, including many diehard Democrats, saw the treatment of her as totally unfair, and found her quite likable.
However the wonderful world of "Yes we can!" has transformed itself into 'No we can't create jobs!". In addition, this mad rush to spend spend spend on what is called a "stimulus" seems to have no effect whatsoever.
If Sarah - and here is the trick-- can manage to get moderate and even some liberal Democrats to vote for her by not pandering to ANY one group (Sarah does not pander well anyway it is not in her blood) by showing compassion and common sense, she will be unstoppable. Government funded abortions, rammed through socialist medicine (what is the point of doing this now when we don't have money to pay for it), pork barrel spending, and more free trade at the expense of people in Michigan makes a large part of the Democratic party sick-- but so does social demonization which is what Sarah is against. Let's see if her excellent political instincts can move her from beyond a fringe candidate to the truly American powerhouse Republican progressive we need like Teddy Roosevelt. This is what is going though this avatar dog's mind right now.
I boy cot Oprah and do not watch and will not ever watch again not for any reason I would rather just read Sarahs book.
Thanks for the info!
