The Bailout: INCLUDES ACORN FUNDING???
Wanna hear something that will just tick you off? MichelleMalkin.com reports that Lindsay Graham "told Fox that the Mother of All Bailouts includes a reported $100 million more in funding for the left-wing housing entitlement thugs and heavily tax-subsidized fraudsters at ACORN. Under the original bailout proposal, apparently, a large portion of any repayment of the $700 billion would go to Barack Obama’s good friends at ACORN with a smaller allocation to debt repayment. Obama, A Community Organizer
I haven’t spent much time here talking about our opponent, I haven’t felt it necessary. I find it more important that we educate ourselves on where McCain/Palin stand on the issues. However, I have heard several news stories recently refer to ACORN, and so I went in search of what this organization is, and what Obama had to do with it. I think you will be amazed at what I found.
In an article dated May 29, 2008, Stanley Kurtz of National Review Online, said this:
“What if Barack Obama’s most important radical connection has been hiding in plain sight all along? Obama has had an intimate and long-term association with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (Acorn), the largest radical group in America. If I told you Obama had close ties with MoveOn.org or Code Pink, you’d know what I was talking about. Acorn is at least as radical as these better-known groups, arguably more so. Yet because Acorn works locally, in carefully selected urban areas, its national profile is lower. Acorn likes it that way. And so, I’d wager, does Barack Obama.”
Now MoveOn.org is radical, make no mistake about it, as is Code Pink. But the one that tops them all is ACORN. So, THIS, my friends, is Obama’s “community organizer” job we hear so much about. I could do hours of research so I could tell you all about it, but I have found two very reputable sources that cover it much better than I ever could, so I will refer you there instead.
I find it interesting that this is being glazed over and covered very little in the mainstream media. Why is this? I wish I knew the answers, but the only thing we can do is get the truth out there so that people like us can decide for ourselves.
